March 7th, 2011 Broadcast: In a Van-Couver
Remember how last week we broadcast live recordings from the iji / James Rabbit tour kickoff show? Weeelllll… The day before, we took a trip up to Vancouver, BC and played with Collapsing Opposites. It was in an Etrian restaurant. It was fun.
The weather was a bit rough. It wasn’t as bad driving up north from Seattle until it started to get darker outside, which meant it was getting colder. When we crossed the border there were a few moments when we had to be careful about sliding on the road (Why “we”? One person was driving). Traffic was slow though, so when I had the idea to, I started recording the van (sans myself) singing 100 bottles of beer on the wall. It started about half-way through 78.
I was concerned about us getting a DUI.
